AD Powder is a versatile steelmaking promoter widely used in the steel industry.

1. Deoxidation: AD Powder contains pure metallic aluminum, which can reduce the oxygen content in molten steel to below 40ppm when used in ladle refining furnaces or converters.
2. Desulfurization: It contains a large amount of active aluminum oxide, which combines with calcium oxide to form an aluminocalcium slag system. This system has a high sulfur capacity and helps remove sulfur from molten steel.
3. Foaming Effect: During the refining process, AD Powder can quickly foam, creating a good arc-burial effect and reducing electrode consumption.
4. Inclusion Removal: Its reducing properties and aluminocalcium slag system can adsorb inclusions such as calcium oxide in steel, purifying the molten steel.
