Pure Calcium Cored Wire

Solid Pure Calcium Cored Wire is formed by interlocking the outer steel strip and the inner calcium wire. After the steel refining is completed, it is fed into the steel by the wire feeder at a speed of 60-120M/S and a feeding rate of 0.8-1.5 m/tons; Suitable for refining calcium in molten steel;

 

Advantages of pure calcium cored wire

1.The calcium treatment process will not introduce other oxides present in the powder line and contaminate the steel liquid;

2.Equipped with high-density core rods, easy to detect quality, smaller surface area of core wires, which enables them to have a longer shelf life and can reduce the amount of calcium oxide inclusions that contaminate the steel liquid to a lower level;

3.More uniform calcium content per meter and higher and more stable active calcium content, ensuring a more stable calcium treatment effect;

4.Thicker outer steel shells and high-density pure calcium core rods can feed calcium deeper into the molten steel and fully react below the critical depth, thereby achieving higher calcium recovery rates;
